Smiles Bookings Cancellation Policy

Smiles bookings is an agent acting as an intermediary between you and the service providers.

Quotations are based on anticipated costs and is subject to change. We will do our utmost to honour prices quoted / published, however all quotations/ invoice may anticipate a price increase due to circumstances outside of our control.

Only price’s reflected on a valid Smiles Bookings invoice shall be final and binding, unless an innocent mistake has been made, in this event Smiles Bookings shall replace the invoice in question and notify the client accordingly.

At the time of making your booking/reservation, a 50% deposit payment is required, and the balance of payment is due within 31 days before your travel date.

It is essential that the guest/payer checks their invoices, prior to making final payment.

Failure to make these payments on time will result in your booking/reservation automatically being released or changed.

We only quote and accept South African Rand.

If payments are made in foreign currency, the guest/payer will be responsible for any short payment resulting from exchange rate fluctuations. The exchange rate is applied by the company’s bank, Nedbank LTD.

All Forex charges incurred will be for the guest/payer’s account.

Our rates do not include travel insurance.

Cancellation Fees

20% cancelation fee will be levied 31 days or more before travel.

100% cancelation fee will be levied 30 days or less before travel.

Refunds

All refunds will be paid in South African Rand.

All bank fees associated with paying a refund will be carried by the refunded party.

Outstanding refunds may be used as credit for a different booking at discretion of Smiles Bookings management.
