Overview
Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge, meaning “place of the Rock” situated on the lower slopes of an ancient volcano.
Blessed with a stunning panoramic view from the lodge restaurant of the surrounding bush. The waterhole by the restaurant is also a favourite among the herds of elephants in the park, which often results in stunning close up views of these animals as one is eating.
The famous underground hide, which was one of the first of its kind in South Africa, also provide guests with beautiful opportunities to view drinking from close, and the lower point of view makes for very dramatic photos.
Kwa Maritane operates 2 daily game drives by experience guides who offer a wealth of information as you travel through the park on your Pilanesberg adventure. The lodge is also considered one of the most family-friendly safari destinations in South Africa.
